Headlight LED Bulb Not Working? Common Causes and Solutions

  Is your headlight LED bulb not working as it should? In many cases, trouble with car headlight bulbs comes down to incorrect installation. Anything from reversed polarity to loose connections and poor bulb alignment can cause the problem.   CANBUS compatibility issues   If you drive a modern vehicle, it may be using a CANBUS system to monitor the headlight circuit. The unit monitors how much power each headlight LED bulb draws to check whether it is working correctly. The system may incorrectly register that an LED bulb has failed since it uses less power than a halogen bulb. This can trigger a dashboard warning light or cause the bulb to switch off shortly after you turn it on.   The fix depends on your vehicle. In some cases, you should be able to solve the problem by installing LED bulbs with built-in CANBUS error-cancelling technology.
